Terms Used In Alabama Code 33-5-34
- Defendant: In a civil suit, the person complained against; in a criminal case, the person accused of the crime.
- Docket: A log containing brief entries of court proceedings.
Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, in all criminal and quasi-criminal proceedings against a defendant for a boating violation, when a defendant is adjudged guilty or pleads guilty, or is adjudicated a juvenile delinquent or youthful offender, or when a bond is forfeited and the result of the forfeiture is a final disposition of the case, or where any penalty is imposed, any court costs, docket fees, and other fees and taxes assessed for traffic infractions under Chapter 19 of Title 12 and Section 15-23-17 shall be imposed in like manner against the defendant.
