Terms Used In Alabama Code 34-40-12

  • Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
  • person: includes a corporation as well as a natural person. See Alabama Code 1-1-1

Any person who violates any provision of this chapter is guilty of a Class B misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be punished and fined, or both, as provided by law.
