Terms Used In Alabama Code 39-8-6
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
A public agency or a construction manager or other contracting entity acting on behalf of a public agency shall not place any of the terms described in Section contract terms prohibited” class=”unlinked-ref” datatype=”S” sessionyear=”2020″ statecd=”AL” title=”39″>39-8-4 in bid specifications, project agreements, or other controlling documents relating to the construction, repair, remodeling, or demolition of a public improvement. Any such included term shall be void and of no effect.
