Terms Used In Alabama Code 45-25-250.15
- Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
- Deed: The legal instrument used to transfer title in real property from one person to another.
- Mortgage: The written agreement pledging property to a creditor as collateral for a loan.

Except as expressly otherwise provided in this article, no proceeding, notice, or approval shall be required for the incorporation of the authority or the amendment of its certificate of incorporation, the acquisition of any property, water, sewer, and garbage system, or the issuance of any mortgage and deed of trust or trust indenture.
