Under the Alabama Code, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:| Class | Prison | Fine |

Terms Used In Alabama Code 45-35-150.13
- Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
- person: includes a corporation as well as a natural person. See Alabama Code 1-1-1
Any person who violates this article shall be guilty of a Class C misdemeanor upon first conviction under this article. Any subsequent conviction shall be a Class A misdemeanor. Any person who is convicted under this section shall be punished as provided by law.
