In an action of slander or libel, if a retraction as provided in Section damages – Retraction” class=”unlinked-ref” datatype=”S” sessionyear=”2020″ statecd=”AL” title=”6″>6-5-184 shall be published in such medium within 10 days of the date of the publication, then the plaintiff in such case shall recover only actual damages.
