- Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
If a false statement is made in an application under Alaska Stat. § 04.11.260 – 04.11.290, the applicant is guilty of perjury and, upon conviction, is subject to the penalty provided by law for the crime of perjury under Alaska Stat. § 11.56.200.
