- fund claim: means a claim against the fund. See Alaska Statutes 06.60.990
- licensee: means a person who holds a license issued under this chapter. See Alaska Statutes 06.60.990
- Mortgage: The written agreement pledging property to a creditor as collateral for a loan.
When the department receives a fund claim, the department shall allow each mortgage loan originator licensee against whom the claim is made an opportunity to file with the department, within seven days after receipt of notification of the fund claim under Alaska Stat. § 06.60.600, a written statement in opposition to the fund claim and a request for a hearing.
