Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 08.04.100
- person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association, organization, business trust, or society, as well as a natural person. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
- state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
The certificate of “Certified Public Accountant” shall be granted by the board to any person who meets the requirements of Alaska Stat. § 08.04.110 – 08.04.130. The holder of a certificate issued under this section is not authorized to engage in the practice of public accounting in the state unless the holder also has a current license or permit .
