Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 08.04.520
- state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
An individual may not assume or use the title or designation “public accountant” or the abbreviation “PA” or other title, designation, word, letter, abbreviation, sign, card, or device tending to indicate that the individual is a public accountant, unless the individual holds a current license or practice privilege and the individual’s offices in this state for the practice of public accounting are maintained as required by Alaska Stat. § 08.04.360 and 08.04.370.
