The records required to be maintained in a register by Alaska Stat. § 08.76.180 must appear in chronological order and, if made in a book, in ink or indelible pencil. Blank lines may not be left between entries. A pawnbroker may not change a record in a register by obliteration, alteration, or erasure. A pawnbroker may correct a record in a register by drawing a line through the entry without destroying its legibility.
