(a) In the event of a change of an officer or director during the year following the filing of the biennial report, the corporation must file a notice of change amending the report before July 2 of that year.

Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 10.20.631

  • commissioner: means commissioner of commerce, community, and economic development. See Alaska Statutes 10.20.920
  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association, organization, business trust, or society, as well as a natural person. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
  • state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
(b) The notice must be filed in the office of the commissioner and must state the name and current address of a director or officer not stated in the corporation’s last filed biennial report, and the name of the person replaced and the office held. The notice must be signed by an officer of the corporation.
