Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 10.30.055

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.

As an alternative to the provisions of Alaska Stat. § 10.30.01010.30.050, a cemetery may be incorporated under Alaska Stat. Chapter 10.20. A nonprofit cemetery corporation is subject to the provisions of Alaska Stat. Chapter 10.20 except to the extent that those provisions conflict with the provisions of this chapter relating to cemetery corporations.
