Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 12.60.040

  • Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
  • person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association, organization, business trust, or society, as well as a natural person. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
  • property: includes real and personal property. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060

A person may bring a complaint in the district court against a person who has threatened to commit a crime against the person or property of another.
