- Arrest: Taking physical custody of a person by lawful authority.
- person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association, organization, business trust, or society, as well as a natural person. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
When the proof mentioned in Alaska Stat. § 12.75.180 is also sufficient to justify the arrest of the person having the party in custody, as for a criminal offense, committed in the taking or detaining of the party, the warrant may also contain an order for the arrest of the person for that offense.
