When there is no taker of an intestate estate, or if an heir, devisee, or claimant cannot be found and the missing person has no conservator, the personal representative shall handle the

(1) unclaimed personal property of the estate in accordance with Alaska Stat. § 34.45.28034.45.780; and

Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 13.16.381

  • Intestate: Dying without leaving a will.
  • person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association, organization, business trust, or society, as well as a natural person. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
  • Real property: Land, and all immovable fixtures erected on, growing on, or affixed to the land.
(2) unclaimed real property of the estate in accordance with Alaska Stat. Chapter 38.95.
