(a) The curriculum improvement and best practices fund is established. The fund consists of appropriations, not to exceed $19,500,000, for distribution to school districts.

  • department: means the Department of Education and Early Development. See Alaska Statutes 14.60.010
(b) Money appropriated to the fund may be expended by the department as provided under Alaska Stat. § 14.07.180, without further appropriation.
(c) Nothing in this section creates a dedicated fund.
(d) Appropriations to the fund do not lapse.
