Alaska Statutes 16.51.110 – Prohibited promotions

The board may not promote or make a contract that promotes seafood by

(1) geographic origin other than from the state generally;

Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060

(2) geographic region of the state; or

(3) specific brand name.
