- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.

A contract entered into to carry out the purposes of Alaska Stat. § 18.23.300 must require that the contractor meet applicable federal and state requirements for protecting health information privacy and security and nationally recognized standards for interoperability of health information technology.
