- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
The power of the corporation to act under Alaska Stat. § 18.55.300 – 18.55.470 is limited to projects in which adequate financing on reasonable terms is not otherwise available or entrepreneurial sponsorship is lacking.
