Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 19.30.070

  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060

The director of the division of lands may contract with private persons for the construction of roads to and on state land programmed for surface disposal that are not more than six miles from existing roads or highways. Contracts under this section are governed by Alaska Stat. Chapter 36.30 (State Procurement Code).
