Commercial insurance is any line of property insurance, as defined in Alaska Stat. § 21.12.060, or casualty insurance, as defined in Alaska Stat. § 21.12.070, that is for business and professional interests, whether for profit, nonprofit, or public in nature. For purposes of filing rates under Alaska Stat. § 21.39.040 and forms under Alaska Stat. § 21.42.120, commercial insurance does not include workers’ compensation insurance.
