Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 21.87.200

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • Liabilities: The aggregate of all debts and other legal obligations of a particular person or legal entity.

In addition to the surplus fund provided for in Alaska Stat. § 21.87.210, each service corporation shall establish and maintain unimpaired reserves and liabilities required under Alaska Stat. § 21.18.050.
