(a) A court of this state may grant relief normally available under the law of this state to enforce a registered child custody determination made by a court of another state.

Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 25.30.440

  • state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
(b) A court of this state shall recognize and enforce, but may not modify except in accordance with Alaska Stat. § 25.30.30025.30.390, a registered child custody determination of a court of another state.
