Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 26.05.700

  • Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.

An accused may be found guilty of an offense necessarily included in the offense charged, of an attempt to commit either the offense under this chapter charged or an offense necessarily included in the offense charged, or of an offense designated by the President of the United States, in the most recent Manual for Courts-Martial, United States, as a presidentially prescribed lesser included offense under Conviction of lesser included offense” class=”unlinked-ref” datatype=”S” statecd=”US” title=”10″>10 U.S.C. § 879 .
