Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 26.27.130

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.

The corporation shall maintain the confidentiality of a trade secret, or other proprietary technical information, supplied for purposes related to this chapter unless the owner of the trade secret authorizes its release or a court orders its release. Information covered by this section is not a public record for purposes of Alaska Stat. § 40.25.11040.25.140. The corporation shall adopt regulations implementing this section.
