Alaska Statutes 32.06.965 – Supplemental principles of law

(a) Unless displaced by particular provisions of this chapter, the principles of law and equity supplement this chapter.

Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.

(b) If an obligation to pay interest arises under this chapter and the rate is not specified, the rate is governed by Alaska Stat. § 45.45.010.
