Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 32.11.870
- Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
- certificate of limited partnership: means the certificate referred to in Alaska Stat. See Alaska Statutes 32.11.900
- commissioner: means the commissioner of commerce, community, and economic development. See Alaska Statutes 32.11.900
- department: means the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development. See Alaska Statutes 32.11.900
- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
A domestic or foreign limited partnership that files a certificate of limited partnership, amendment, cancellation, or registration, or other application with the department, shall pay to the commissioner a filing fee established by the department by regulation. The filing fee must be uniform and fixed.
