A notice under Alaska Stat. § 36.90.220(2) or 36.90.230(a)(1) must be in writing and must state the amount being withheld, the specific causes for the withholding under the terms of the subcontract, and the remedial actions to be taken by the subcontractor to receive payment of the amount withheld.
