- state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
The annual estimated balance in each account maintained under Alaska Stat. § 37.05.142 may be used by the legislature to make appropriations to state agencies to administer the programs generating the program receipts, to implement the laws related to the functions generating the program receipts, or to cover costs associated with the collection of the program receipts.
