Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 37.14.420
- person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association, organization, business trust, or society, as well as a natural person. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
- state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
The state trustees may not agree to an expenditure of money from the trust to a person or entity other than an agency of the state or federal government unless the expenditure is for administrative expenses of the trust and is consistent with the competitive principles of Alaska Stat. Chapter 36.30 (State Procurement Code). This section does not prevent an agency receiving trust money from expending the money in accordance with procurement or other law applicable to that agency.
