Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 39.20.370
- Decedent: A deceased person.
- state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
Alaska Stat. § 39.20.360 – 39.20.400 do not apply to any benefit, refund, or interest payable under the Public Employees’ Retirement System applicable to the decedent‘s service or to an amount the disposition of which is otherwise expressly prescribed by state law.
