The director of the division of personnel may establish salary schedules providing lesser amounts than those in the basic salary schedule in order to meet salary limit requirements for receipt and expenditure of federal funds. Salary rates established under authority of this section do not affect the salaries of employees provided for by a collective bargaining agreement negotiated under the authority of Alaska Stat. § 23.40.070 – 23.40.260 (Public Employment Relations Act).
