Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 43.50.720

  • Gift: A voluntary transfer or conveyance of property without consideration, or for less than full and adequate consideration based on fair market value.

In all advertisements, offers for sale, or sales involving two or more items when at least one of the items is cigarettes at a combined price, and in all advertisements, offers for sale, or sales involving the giving of any gift, concession, or coupon of any kind in conjunction with the sale of cigarettes, the wholesaler’s or retailer’s combined selling price may not be less than the applicable minimum price determined by the department under Alaska Stat. § 43.50.810 of the total of all articles, products, commodities, gifts, and concessions included in the transactions, except that, if any articles, products, commodities, gifts, or concessions are not cigarettes, the price shall be the applicable minimum price determined by the department under Alaska Stat. § 43.50.810.
