Alaska Statutes 43.82.620 – Procedures for collection of amounts due; security

(a) The commissioner may adopt procedures for the collection of amounts due the state under a contract developed under Alaska Stat. § 43.82.020, including the collection of interest and penalties.

Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060

(b) The commissioner may require a party to a contract developed under Alaska Stat. § 43.82.020 to provide security sufficient to guarantee amounts due under the contract.
