This state shall recognize a minor as an emancipated minor if that minor can document emancipation from another jurisdiction of the United States and is at least sixteen years of age.
Terms Used In Arizona Laws 12-2455
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
- Minor: means a person under eighteen years of age. See Arizona Laws 1-215
