A person driving a golf cart or a neighborhood electric vehicle pursuant to section 28-721, subsection C shall yield the right-of-way to a vehicle that is traveling in the same direction and that is intending to turn to the right.
Terms Used In Arizona Laws 28-777
- Golf cart: means a motor vehicle that has not less than three wheels in contact with the ground, that has an unladen weight of less than one thousand eight hundred pounds, that is designed to be and is operated at not more than twenty-five miles per hour and that is designed to carry not more than four persons including the driver. - Neighborhood electric vehicle: means a self-propelled electrically powered motor vehicle to which all of the following apply:
(a) The vehicle is emission free. See Arizona Laws 28-101
- Person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association or society, as well as a natural person. See Arizona Laws 1-215
- Right-of-way: when used within the context of the regulation of the movement of traffic on a highway means the privilege of the immediate use of the highway. See Arizona Laws 28-101
