A. In this article, "radioactive waste material" means any residue remaining after the processing of source material.

Terms Used In Arizona Laws 30-691

  • Source material: means :

    (a) Uranium, thorium or any other material that the governor declares by order to be source material after the United States nuclear regulatory commission or any successor has determined the material to be source material. See Arizona Laws 30-651

B. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this article, no license shall be granted for disposing of any radioactive waste material that originated as waste from without this state.
