A. Any person may report to the board any information the person has that appears to show that a veterinarian is or may be medically incompetent or is or may be guilty of:
Terms Used In Arizona Laws 32-2240
- Animal: means any animal other than human. See Arizona Laws 32-2201
- Board: means the Arizona state veterinary medical examining board. See Arizona Laws 32-2201
- Person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association or society, as well as a natural person. See Arizona Laws 1-215
- Veterinarian: means a person who has received a doctor's degree in veterinary medicine from a veterinary college. See Arizona Laws 32-2201
1. Unprofessional conduct.
2. Animal abuse.
B. A person who reports information to the board in good faith pursuant to this section is immune from civil liability.
