A. The board shall hold hearings at a time and place determined by the director. The board may hold special meetings the chairman determines necessary to carry out the functions of the board.

- Action: includes any matter or proceeding in a court, civil or criminal. See Arizona Laws 1-215
- Board: means the private investigator and security guard hearing board established by section 32-2404. See Arizona Laws 32-2401
- Director: means the director of the department of public safety. See Arizona Laws 32-2401
- Quorum: The number of legislators that must be present to do business.
B. A majority of board members, regardless of board vacancies, constitutes a quorum and a majority vote of a quorum present is necessary for the board to take any action.
