A. The board shall adopt by rule the schedule IV controlled substances listed in 21 C.F.R. § 1308.14 and shall amend the rules, as necessary, to reflect any changes in the schedule IV controlled substance designations.
Terms Used In Arizona Laws 36-2515
- Board: means the Arizona state board of pharmacy. See Arizona Laws 36-2501
- Controlled substance: means a drug, substance or immediate precursor in schedules I through V of article 2 of this chapter and the rules adopted pursuant to article 2 of this chapter. See Arizona Laws 36-2501
B. The board may except by rule any compound, mixture or preparation containing any substance adopted by rule pursuant to this section from the application of all or any part of this chapter if the compound, mixture or preparation contains one or more active medicinal ingredients and if the admixtures are included therein in combinations, quantity, proportion or concentration that vitiates the potential for abuse.
