A. The state registrar shall seal a certificate and evidentiary documents when the state registrar amends the registered certificate.
Terms Used In Arizona Laws 36-322
- Certificate: means a record that documents a birth or death. See Arizona Laws 36-301
- Court order: means a written decision issued by:
(a) The superior court, an appellate court or the supreme court or an equivalent court in another state. See Arizona Laws 36-301
- Issue: means :
(a) To provide a copy of a registered certificate. See Arizona Laws 36-301
- Seal: means to bar from access. See Arizona Laws 36-301
B. Unless required by a court order and except as provided in section 36-340, the state registrar shall not issue a copy of a certificate or other record sealed pursuant to this section.
