A person may apply for a temporary restraining order or preliminary or permanent injunction from the superior court to enjoin the remanufacturing, retrofitting, leasing, subleasing, selling or otherwise placing in the stream of commerce a crib that does not comply with this article.

Terms Used In Arizona Laws 36-3523

  • Crib: means a bed or containment designed to accommodate an infant and includes full-size cribs and nonfull-size cribs. See Arizona Laws 36-3521
  • Injunction: An order of the court prohibiting (or compelling) the performance of a specific act to prevent irreparable damage or injury.
  • Person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association or society, as well as a natural person. See Arizona Laws 1-215
  • Temporary restraining order: Prohibits a person from an action that is likely to cause irreparable harm. This differs from an injunction in that it may be granted immediately, without notice to the opposing party, and without a hearing. It is intended to last only until a hearing can be held.
