Terms Used In Arizona Laws 36-757
- Fraud: Intentional deception resulting in injury to another.
- Midwife: means a person who delivers a baby or provides health care related to pregnancy, labor, delivery and postpartum care of the mother and her infant. See Arizona Laws 36-751
- Person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association or society, as well as a natural person. See Arizona Laws 1-215
1. Obtains a license as a midwife by fraud, intentional misrepresentation or deceit.
2. Performs midwifery without a proper license or after the license has been denied, suspended or revoked.
