The board shall cause the annual financial statements of the prefunding plan to be prepared in accordance with the applicable governmental accounting standards and an audit to be conducted of those financial statements by a qualified independent certified accounting firm for each fiscal year in accordance with the applicable governmental auditing standards.
Terms Used In Arizona Laws 38-938
- Board: means the board of trustees of the system. See Arizona Laws 38-931
- Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
- Prefunding plan: means the Arizona employers' pension prefunding plan established by this article. See Arizona Laws 38-931
