A. Nothing contained in this chapter shall be construed to restrict the authority of the secretary to enter into contracts with water users in this state, including exchange contracts authorized by Public Law 90-537.
Terms Used In Arizona Laws 48-3717
- District: means a multi-county water conservation district organized under the authority of this chapter. See Arizona Laws 48-3701
- including: means not limited to and is not a term of exclusion. See Arizona Laws 1-215
- Public law: A public bill or joint resolution that has passed both chambers and been enacted into law. Public laws have general applicability nationwide.
- Secretary: means the secretary of the interior of the United States of America. See Arizona Laws 48-3701
B. Nothing contained in this chapter shall be construed as authorizing the district to determine how the central Arizona project water is to be allocated among water users of this state.
