(a) A licensee shall meet the requirements set forth in subdivision (f) of § 1031 of the Government Code prior to performing either of the following:

(1) An evaluation of a peace officer applicant’s emotional and mental condition.

Terms Used In California Business and Professions Code 2247

  • licensee: as used in this chapter means the holder of a physician's and surgeon's certificate or doctor of podiatric medicine's certificate, as the case may be, who is engaged in the professional practice authorized by the certificate under the jurisdiction of the appropriate board. See California Business and Professions Code 2041
  • Subdivision: means a subdivision of the section in which that term occurs, unless some other section is expressly mentioned. See California Business and Professions Code 15

(2) An evaluation of a peace officer’s fitness for duty.

(b) This section shall become operative on January 1, 2005.
