A board may revoke, suspend, or otherwise restrict a license on the ground that the licensee secured the license by fraud, deceit, or knowing misrepresentation of a material fact or by knowingly omitting to state a material fact.

- Fraud: Intentional deception resulting in injury to another.
- License: includes certificate, registration or other means to engage in a business or profession regulated by this code. See California Business and Professions Code 477
- Licensee: means any person authorized by a license, certificate, registration, or other means to engage in a business or profession regulated by this code or referred to in Sections 1000 and 3600. See California Business and Professions Code 23.8
- material: includes a statement or omission substantially related to the qualifications, functions, or duties of the business or profession. See California Business and Professions Code 478
- State: means the State of California, unless applied to the different parts of the United States. See California Business and Professions Code 21
