“Measure” means any constitutional amendment or other proposition submitted to a popular vote at any election.

Terms Used In California Elections Code 329
- Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
- Election: means any election including a primary that is provided for under this code. See California Elections Code 318
