(a) Except as specified in subdivision (b), no initial term of a state water bottom lease shall exceed 25 years.
(b) The initial term of a state water bottom lease for marine finfish aquaculture shall not exceed 10 years.
Terms Used In California Fish and Game Code 15405
- Aquaculture: means that form of agriculture devoted to the propagation, cultivation, maintenance, and harvesting of aquatic plants and animals in marine, brackish, and fresh water. See California Fish and Game Code 17
